Katy specializes in lived-in blondes and brunettes, dimensional color, and luxury hair extensions. She is especially known for creating seamless, natural-looking color and expertly blended extensions that complement each client’s features and lifestyle. Clients from across New Jersey seek her out for her extension expertise and customized approach.

Committed to continual education, Katy is certified in Natural Beaded Rows®, The Mane Method, Covet & Mane, and Vidal Sassoon cutting. She currently serves as a Covet & Mane Regional Educator and has previously been an educator for Kérastase and Shu Uemura, in addition to leading and mentoring extension specialists throughout her career.

Every appointment begins with listening. Katy takes the time to understand each client’s goals before making recommendations based on skin tone, lifestyle, and long-term maintenance. She believes the best results come from transparency, which means giving honest guidance—even when that means recommending a different service or saying no.

Her work has also included styling for Zac Posen during New York Fashion Week, Romona Keveza Bridal Fashion Week, and notable personalities including Ciara Miller.

With more than 22 years behind the chair, Don Zagada has built a career rooted in technical precision, continuous education, and a belief that there is always a better way to approach the craft. His foundation began at Antonio’s Salon & Spa before advancing his education through the renowned Vidal Sassoon Academy, where he developed the discipline, structure, and precision that continue to define his work today.

Don’s advanced training includes education with Vidal Sassoon, Wella, Paul Mitchell, Ouidad, and Aqua Hair Extensions, with his work also featured by several of those industry-leading brands. After completing his education at the Vidal Sassoon Academy in London, he earned the title of Master Stylist, a reflection of his commitment to technical excellence and lifelong learning.

Today, Don specializes in precision haircuts, men’s grooming, and custom blonde balayage, creating personalized looks that complement each guest’s face shape, skin tone, hair texture, and lifestyle. His philosophy is that exceptional hair should look as effortless in everyday life as it does when you leave the salon.

As Co-Founder of House of Mieux, Don is passionate about building a culture where education never stops. His goal is to help shape the next generation of artists, push the industry forward through innovation, and create an experience where both guests and stylists feel inspired to become better every day.

Katie has been behind the chair for six years, but her passion for hair started long before her career. Growing up with a hairstylist as her mom, she was immersed in the industry from an early age and quickly discovered a love for helping people feel their best. She began her professional journey at Morris County School of Technology before continuing to develop her craft under the mentorship of House of Mieux co-founder Don Zagada.

Katie specializes in custom balayage, dimensional color, corrective color, layered haircuts, and signature bouncy blowouts. She is especially known for creating soft, effortless styles with movement and color that feels personalized to each guest. Clients throughout New Jersey seek her out for her layered cuts and voluminous blowouts.

Committed to continual education, Katie has completed advanced color training at Wella Studio Los Angeles and is certified in Aqua Hair tape-in and fusion extensions. She believes there’s always something new to learn, whether that’s attending hands-on education or finding inspiration from the industry’s top artists.
